Invite the children to draw simple fish or sea creatures on a paper towel. When they’re finished, have
them take turns placing their drawings on a white plate. Gently place a second, blank paper towel on
top to cover the drawing. Then, slowly pour a small amount of water over the top towel and watch as
the image underneath begins to appear through the paper—almost like magic! Give each child a turn
to try it with their own drawing.
Explain: Today, we are going to learn about the story of the creation! God created the Earth, the Sun,
the Moon, the stars, all of the plants and animals, and each one of us. His power brought all of His
creations to life.
